Sahir Ludhianvi

Sahir Ludianvi (born on March 8th 1921) was a poet and lyricist. He has an outstanding body of work which include lyrics in films like Pyaasa (1957), Naya Daur (1957), Hum Dono (1961) and Kabhi Kabhi (1976) to name a few. His lyrics have a strong intensity and he managed to bring Urdu literature into motion pictures effortlessly.
