The Urdu lafz for today is Ashk which means tears in Urdu.

Ashkon mein jo paaya hai woh geeton mein diya hai
Iss par bhi suna hai zamane ko gila hai

Jo taar se nikli hai who dhun sab ne suni hai
Jo saaz pe guzri hai woh kis dil ko pata hai

Hum phool hai, auron ke liye laaye hai khushbu
Apne liye le de ke bas ek daagh mila hai

The English translation is below:
What I have got from my tears, I have poured into my songs
On this too, I have heard, the world has complaints against me

Everyone has heard the tune that has been released from the musical strings of the instrument
But what the instrument endured, is unknown to everyone

We are like flowers, our fragrance is for one and all
For ourselves, however, is the company of thorns
